Emanuel Josef Margold (born May 4, 1888 in Vienna; † May 2, 1962 in Bratislava) was an architect, designer for the decorative arts and graphic artist. He studied, among other things, at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the master school for architecture with Josef Hoffmann and became Hoffmann's assistant in the master class and employee of the Wiener Werkstätte.

In May 1911, Margold was appointed to the Darmstadt artists' colony and set up a studio in the Ernst Ludwig House. He created numerous designs for all areas of decorative arts such as jewelry, porcelain, glass, fabrics and wallpaper. Several residential and commercial furnishings are also documented from this period. His tin cookie tins for the manufacturer Bahlsen from Hanover, which he made between 1912 and 1918, became famous.

In 1929 he moved to Berlin. Here he designed residential buildings in the New Building style. In 1938 he was appointed professor at the School of Applied Arts in Bratislava.
