Pierre Billet (1836 - Cantin - 1922) was a French painter and etcher.
He studied at the Paris Academy under Émile and Jules Breton. He made his debut in 1867 at the Paris Salon with genre scenes of rural life, fishermen and workers in the fields.
In 1873 and 1874 he was awarded the second and third class medal.
While his paintings were initially naturalistic, he painted less academically after 1900 and more open to post-impressionism.
His works can be found in Museums in Bordeaux, Lille, Paris.
