Susanne KESSLER (*1955), 1997 (untitled)

Susanne Kessler (born October 31, 1955 in Wuppertal) is a German-Italian painter, draftsman and installation artist. She lives and works in Berlin and Rome.

Susanne Kessler studied painting and graphics at the Berlin University of the Arts (1975-1982). 

Awards include 2022, Von der Heydt Culture Prize, 1992, Paul Strecker Prize of the City of Mainz.

Numerous solo exhibitions and group exhibitions in Europe and worldwide.

2001/2002 visiting professor at California State University, Stanislaus/USA; 2010 at the Academy of Arts in Riga/Latvia; 2011 at the City University of New York, NY/USA.

Susanne Kessler is a member of the German Artists' Association.
