Hubert Glansdorff (16 October 1877 Ixelles/Brussels – 9 April 1963 Knokke) received his training from J. Stallaert at the Brussels Academy. He was represented in the Brussels salons and was a member of the Brussels artists' circle. As a painter, he is particularly known for his successful flower still lifes. His painting, idealistic and in grisaille, evolved around 1900 towards luminism.
